A card shower is when we send cards to one of our members who is going through some rough times. Some folks send fq's some send somthing else, just whatever and a little card to let them know they are being thought of. It goes a long way to cheer folks up.

When one says shower to MB-Winnipeg, it means: a girls/ladies get together to give gifts to bride to be, (Bridal shower) or again (Baby shower) then only in Winnipeg you hear (social) which is a dance event prior to your wedding collecting funds, gifts for the newly to be couple...

Your definition of shower is a card for uplifting the person going through rough waters, yes?
