We feel so blessed by the out pouring of love and concern we have had during this time. He is recovering slowly but surely, he can't put weight on it for 12 weeks but he has begun exercising it and bending it as much as possible before scar tissue builds up. My cycling husband wont stand for anything but being 100% back to normal. Now we need to find a lawyer as the "wonderful policeman declared Dave at fault "because he ran into the pick up truck" anyone with half a brain could see that was not the case it was his rear tire and leg that took the brunt of the accident, if he had run into the truck he would have gone over the front of the bike and damage would be on the front of the bike. So now we have to litigate it to get a settlement for lost wages and medical coverage... nothing is ever easy for our family....
