I am overwhelmed by you all and your friendship!!! Also… totally surprised and shocked… in a VERY good way!!! You are wonderful!!!

Odie and I went to get the mail at the PO today, and... Surprise!!! A huge box addressed to ME!!! It had Sue’s return address, and that really made me curious, so Kathy (the Postmistress) loaned me her scissors… Instant gratification… couldn’t wait to go home… When we opened the box, we were both squealing… with delight on my part and amazement on her part!

I just love the brightly colored wonky houses!!! And, of course, the sunflowers—both in the backing and the quilting… after all, we ARE in Kansas!!! Sue/Kenderosa, you did a spectacular job of setting the blocks, and Teresa, your quilting is always perfect!!! The house blocks are so darling!!! I’ve always loved and wanted a house quilt!!! (Did someone read my mind???)

When I got home, DH’s eyes about popped out of his head as he looked at the quilt in amazement. You really surprised him with your wonderful gift of friendship for our new home!!!

One is at our new front door (note Odie's very own entrance!), the next the view from my sewing room (sorry about the lighting), and the other is on our bed. Our bed is an antique double bed that belonged to my grandparents. A special bed with a special quilt! Again, thank you!!!

I hope that Sue will add some more pictures to this that show it off in a much better light! I love the vibrant colors!!!
