Sending quilts to Japan

Hello Quilters,
My former teacher, Gail, and her associate, Eve, put their two heads and talents together to help the people of Japan and of course quilting won the day! They started Quilter4Japan.org, they acquired a warehouse for sorting & shipping, Eve translates all cards that accompany each quilt, their design is the Japanese symbol for 'heart' and their endearing quilting motto is "This is from me. I made it for you." This is their home site: http://quilts4japan.org/
This second link is a brief interview as they try and get the word out: http://albany.patch.com/articles/quilte ... to-5542213.
Our appeal is to any quilters who are looking for a way to help the survivors in Japan and know what a handmade quilt, stitched with love and shared humanity, can mean to someone in need.
Thank you so much for your consideration,
