Children's Lighthouse of Minnesota
Some of you may have seen me post and reference to quilts I am making for Chilren's Lighthouse of Minnesota.
My youngest son's SIL is hoping to start one here in Minnesota. So far there are only 3 hospice homes for chilren in the country!!
DS posted this link on his facebook page so I thought I would share it with you.
My quiltiing goal is to have a quilt made for each children that comes to be at the home... and if the child should pass away--the quilt will be given to the family. So far I have made 3 quilts that they have used for fund rasiers--one brought in over $100--I was tickled!
Anyway, I just thought perhaps you'd like to see what it's all about. In the picture you'll see, that gal on the left is Ds's SIL, Katie! She is such a dear sweet wonderful person!
