Hi,

I am new here so I wanted to introduce myself and send out a shout for assistance at the same time. I am the area coordinator for the greater Philadelphia area - the Narberth Chapter - to be specific. We are a brand new chapter and in need of quilters to donate their time and quilts for children in need. To learn more, feel free to go to http://www.binkypatrol.org/page.cfm?name=pa_falkoff. If you can't help with a quilt, we can use new 100% cotton material 'kid style' if possible, cotton thread, low loft batting...and the list goes on.

You don't need to be in the Philadelphia area - or even Pa - to donate. You can be anywhere.

Anyone in the Philadelphia area who is interested in ongoing participation, please contact me. I need fellow volunteers for things other than quilting.

Also, I would love to have a tossed nine patch pattern if someone would share.

Be well,
wisper

Thank you so much Oasis. Is this the same as the tossed 9 patch? Whether it is or not, I really like it. It will make a great pattern for Binkies.

Thanks again,
wisper

I'm not sure about that wisper. This is the one I have had so much fun with.

I've seen it with 4 embroidered or appliqued blocks in the corners (these stay uncut) and then the other 4 all the same color to form a frame around the uncut blocks. Remember to make the center block darker or brighter, since it is the little squares. It is very versatile.

Have fun and let us know what you create.

Linda/Oasis
