Quilt in a Day Forums

I hope the title doesn't confuse you. I will be hosting the second portion of the project. I hope to have a co-host soon.

Here are more of the details. If you have any questions, please pm me right away.

Block: your favorite block

Fabric: 100% cotton, washed

Style of fabric: whatever you would like, ex, floral, pattern, small print, large print, solid, etc. Probably not novelty. This will be a real sampler, fabric and pattern.

Colors: predominate colors should be pink or green, any shades of these colors. Coordinating color: white or white on white

Size: 6 1/2 inch unfinished. Don't square your blocks, I'll do that and make them all the same.

I will also use a tone on tone for the sashing. I am looking for a pink floral border, so if you would like to contribute that instead of a block, pm me.

Oh, yes, you may send more than one block.

Update 5/20 - I have now listed how many blocks I have received and am totalling 37 at this point. I will also be making a centerpiece block so we are doing very nicely on this project.

Today is the due date. A couple people have sent PMs that their blocks are delayed and will be here later this week. If anyone else is mailing a block please send a pm, otherwise I will sew the blocks I have.

Yesterday Beccasmom/Brenda acknowledged receipt of the quilt in Chit Chat. I posted picture of the quilt in this thread. There is another picture of the quilt in 9/3/09 Sew in. (Oh the Sew-in is dated Thursday 9/4/09.)

ok, call me a dingbat.... one of these 4/24 projects says a 6 1/2 block the other says 12 1/2 block...

are there two things going on and I am only aware of one of them or is this the same thing posted twice?

Hi Carol... I am confident I can get at least one out to you by the date needed... I will make it a priority to get it done... I have some pinks and greens unpacked still and my white on whites! Guess it was meant to be... LOL!

Hi Everyone - I have been responding to all PM's as quickly as I can. I have received a couple that have no information however from Chrissy and Grammiequilts.
