These stars can be adapted to 6" finished stars. Just remember when reducing size, remember to use finished size for reducing, then add the seam allowance back in. Also, if you have the 3X6 flying geese ruler, use the small end for the geese, it will turn out perfect.

Thanks Evie, I may try one of those too. Have never reduced a pattern but will try on cheapo fabric before the real thing.

F & P were making the cutest star blocks on their show this morning. You make two blocks at a time and switch the fabrics just like Eleanor's Twin Sisters blocks. Did anyone see that?

Following some wonderful advice from Gmaann, I checked the Victory Quilts book and found a star to make! (can't remember the name of it of course and the book is wwwaaaayyy downstairs) Made one and it was super easy with the FG rulers!

So, I'll have 1 block on the way by mid week!

Uh oh, I don't now what zip I put on the envelope. I hope my block gets to you, Linda. I printed this off as soon as I saw it so I may have put the wrong zip - darn!

I need to paw through my stash; I'd love to make one for this young lady.
