Susanna - I do believe I will buy some of those quilt hangers in Paducah! You're not so crazy about my antique skirt hangers, huh??

:)

LOL Ann, are those antique allready?

What I like about the one's QIAD sells is that it is SO easy to take your quilt out of them and change the scenety, without nails and hammers.

I once ordered the hangers they had for our rulers, and they send me the wooden quilt hangers, or maybe it was visa versa.
Anyway, I thanked them for having send them to me.
I guess they had read my mind.

Yep! Antiques! That's called 'make do' in this shaky economy!

If anyone has a quilt for Merryman House and you are not going to be there - please send it to the QIAD store in Paducah. I am leaving on Friday for Paducah, so I'm afraid anything mailed now would not get to me before I leave.

The address is:

Quilt in a Day
Attn: Ann D.
119 North 4th Street
Paducah, KY 42001

I will call the store on Monday to let them know that something might arrive (since they have absolutely no idea who Ann D. is!!). The Meet N Greet is at the store the night before the class, and it will be just after the class that we will have our Show N Tell for Eleanor and Sue and then present the quilts to Wendy, the representative of Merryman House.

Thanks Ann. 2 Quilts are on their way to this address.
You are a doll to be doing this for us and the Merrymen House.

Another beautiful quilt has just arrived from Oasis/Linda!! I will be taking it with others to Paducah tomorrow. They will be received by a representative of Meryman House on Sunday, April 19, following our class and Show N Tell with Eleanor and Sue Bouchard.

I am so grateful to all who have taken the time to make a quilt for those in need in Paducah!!

Thank you, Linda - and ALL who have participated.

If you haven't already, take a look at Linda's quilt in the Photo section!

I'll TRY to remember to take photos of all the quilts on that Sunday!

This is the quilt (yet to be finished) for the Merriman House. Sailboat block from UGRR book. We will back it with a tropical fish print.
