Hello Fellow quilters. I was looking for a place I could possibly sell my quilts. I am in despirate need of new hearing aids. They are not inexpensive. I was wondering if anyone new where I could sell quilts? (other than e-bay). Of course it would take several quilts for me to sell in order to pay for new hearing aids. There are several places that will give a payment option but I cannot afford the payments. I am on disability and all but $20.00 of that goes for mortgage. I am happy I have a partner to cover the rest of the household expenses and he is over stressed with that. So any suggestions would be helpful. New hearing aids would cost $3600.00

I don't have much knowledge about selling quilts, but I hope you are able to find an outlet for your work. Are there any area Quilt Shows that you could enter and display/sell???
Have you tried local or specialty newspapers??
Hope someone with experience can offer you good suggestions.
Hugs and Good Wishes coming your way.

Lowell, I sent you a PM with a few sites I have found. I can't guarantee any of them will give you the results you need but it is a place to start.

Do you have a Craig's list there? Or how about a recycler in your area? There is a Quiltsy.com that might work for you.

Just a thought. Have you ever been in a restaurant or other businesses where you see beautiful artwork on the walls with price tags?
I've heard that small quilts make more money than big quilts. How about doing wall hangings and asking businesses around town if they would display your quilts.
The doctor's office that I go to has lots of quilts on display.

Craft shows and fairs or local churches are a good place, there is usually a table fee. My son's pre-school does a caft bazzar,
the table fee was 10%

Lowell you might try lap size or baby & childrens quilts in Hospital gift shops. You could go talk to them and show a couple of samples. Is there a Childrens Hosp. close by? That might be a good place. Have you seen the patterns for the YoYo Animals? Sadiedaisey has posted a darling Dog she made from YoYo's in Pics recently that might be a good seller. I wish you the very best of luck.
