Hi Bev,
I now have all the arcs finished for my DD's DWR quilt and have started cutting out all the football shapes and center diamond set pieces.
Sorry you ran out of your background fabric. What did you decide to use for your adjustments?
Mary

Luv - don't you just hate it when that happens. Running out of fabric is my worst fear. Can you get more of your background fabric?
Rosebud - you are coming right along with your DWR. I can't wait to see it finished.
I'm at work - I get off at 5 PM and it's only 2:30 here but I'm so antsy to leave here. I'm not looking forward to going to the grocery store after work but I am looking forward to getting in my sewing room tonight. It's going to be close to 90* and the horrible humidity is coming back - UGH! I'm more than ready for cooler weather.

Hi Mary,
The colors are off white(background) and a dark green and a floral pink with diffrent colors and has the greens in it......I am using the floral in a big border and the dark green in a small border...then the other blocks around the outside....

Re: Friday Oct the 3rd sew-in
I have been sewing off and on since around ten this morning, working on Halloween costumes. I hate all the pinning....boooorrring! But the stretch velvet needs a lot of pins or it shifts a lot. Not like well-behaved cottons! Both cloaks are cut out; one is partly sewn together. I popped in here to take a break and rest my eyeballs.
I was thinking of trying to sneak in a short nap this afternoon, but the Miramar Air Show is going on and we are in the flight path. The afternoon flights are starting; I can hear biplanes buzzing around. The Blue Angels will be roaring around out there for a twilight show later; they come in so low the windows and doors rattle and you can see the pilots in their cockpits. The noise scares the poor dog half to death! When I was on the night shift I made sure I was off work the weekend of the air show; otherwise I would get NO sleep because of the incredible din.

Hi all! I'm making dinner and trying to decided what to do for the next round on Snoopy's madallion. I think I have an idea but I'm not sure. For dinner I'm making stir fry iwth beef, carrots, onions and green peppers with egg noodles on the side.
I found out today, finally, that I will be able to transfer from the Walmart I worked at in OH to the one I worked at here in NY. I'll get to go to OH next weekend to spend time with DH and pack up the rest of my things and then I'll start work teh flollowing weekend.

Bev, the colors sound really pretty together. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Cindy, I was really surprised at how quickly the arcs went together. I was expecting to be on those for a couple more months, LOL. It's a good thing that they did go together as quickly as they did though, because DD's wedding was moved up to Feb 7.
Carolej, I know what you mean about the air shows. I remember going through that when I lived by Travis AFB.
