Saturday Sew in June 14, 2008

Post by dforseth » Sat Jun 14, 2008 2:14 am

Good morning from the Texas Panhandle. I hope all of you have a wonderful day. I am, hopefully, rested from church camp and will be sewing today.

I have a table runner that I want to try. The second mystery block will be posted tomorrow by DJ, so I will be working on that after church, can't wait.

Good Saturday to all.

HI, I will be working on a quilt top for the local quilt shop. They ask me to make it for them (they furnished all the fabric) and they will quilt it after it is finished. Of coarse I am getting paid to do this. Hurrah!! Marge

Hi everyone, just poppin in real quick. Waiting for son and grandkids to get here. Today is DGS birthday. He is 4.... He is growing up so fast but still wants his grammy to pick him up. Luckily he isn't too heavy yet. LOL.

The house & yard are decorated with soccer decorations as he gets to start playing soccer this summer. What fun!! May run to the wild animal park tomorrow morning for his day & father's day.

Today the DGK are finishing their potholders to give to daddy. Of course DGS is made from Nascar fabric & DGD is out of pink.

Hope everyone has a beautiful day.

Well, I'll be putting the binding on my dad's Father's Day quilt this afternoon. This a.m. I was cleaning up my fabric room and trying to find some patio furniture, haven't found furniture yet, but did get the room nice and clean! I love to sew when my room is clean, which is a rarity! LOL!

Hi Everyone,

Let the sewing begin! The fog is starting to lift here and the sun is coming out. Supposed to be a decent day.

Have fun no matter what you're doing.

Hi Michelle, just saw your gold blocks in photos. Those colors are beautiful. Can't wait to see it finished.

Bored, still waiting for kids to get here & not wanting to get too involved in anything. Oh well.... I'm just wanting those grammy hugs & kisses. They sure brighten my day.

Might be back later.....

Good afternoon all. I will be working on my wall hanging today when I feel more motivated. I just got out of the shower and it is almost 2:30 all ready. This is going to be a lazy day but they are needed sometimes.
