Hi Debbie, I am still at work and I have been trying to decide what to do with my b/w charms. I think a tossed nine will win but I want to add a contrasting color too. I did a b/w and gold quilt for my daughter I was thinking about something different...like maybe purple if I can find the right shade, or burgundy.

Hi Ladies - How is everyone doing? No sewing for me today. Went to the doctor then lunch with hubby, then I treated myself to a pedicure, they always feel wonderful. Have a ton of laundry to do and haven't even thought about supper. I see that they have the Fat quarters for Victory quilts posted for sale, yummy :o) I already got two orders this week, I should be good!

I got the framing border on the b/w quilt, but had to stop and wash the backing. While waiting for the backing I pressed a baby quilt top and backing and made the binding.

Debbie

PS
I have a B/W Turning Twenty waiting to be finished and it will be backed and bound in red/white micro-dot.

Hi Everyone,
Glad to find that some people are sewing! I have been embroidering the antenae on the butterflies for the block lotto today. I would like to go mail them and it looks like there will be time. I am almost done with the last one and the last pick up is at 4:30.

Hey everybody!
I spent most of the day getting things back to normal around here after being away at the QIAD retreat from Monday through Thursday: laundry, dishes, cleaning out the 'frige, getting all my stuff unpacked and my sewing area back in order, getting Ma to the eye doctor.

I did get to play earlier, did some brainstorming on a WIM, a wallhanging that I have a pattern for. I started a paste-up sheet for it; it has a lot of different fabrics in it and I didn't want to forget what I chose for what. I also made some rough sketches because the pattern has pine trees and I want to put in an oak and a eucalyptus instead. It was fun to sit and scribble, cut and paste!

Gotta go turn on the oven, kick the dog out (the sound of the oven flips her out) and warm some things up for dinner.

Hope everyone has some quilty fun tonight!

I got the final border on and the binding made. Now I have to stop playing and help my daugher, son-in-law, and grandson get settled in their new home. They are moving for the 4th time in 9 months, daugher says she is a "professional packer" now! They will be back in the same town as us, where they started 9 months ago. Hope to be able to play more later.
