I just glanced at the thread from last night....wow I missed a lot

...goats, gas bagging and chicken poop....hmmm.....
as for me I went out with my H to the South Coast Rep to see a play and had a great time too....
The play last night was a new one and the acting was incredible. The 2 male roles were played by men who are currently in major TV shows (Eli Stone and Desperate Housewives) they were wonderful.
off to finish my Last Sue

Goodmorning Everyone!
We sure did have fun chatting last night! I left a little early. I really did want to pin the ties together and finished all the blue for the next round. Today I am going to sew them and cut and pin the red. Then I will be able to put on the bows and finish the blocks by the end of the week so I can mail everything.

Just heading out to my sew room, so won't be back for a while--it is in another building beside my house--so stopped here to say hi. I'm working on blocks for my disaster quilt top--a sampler with 20 different blocks. I'm also wanting to start on my pink brigade blocks for mequilter. Have the pattern and most fabrics picked out, just need to start cutting and sewing.
Have a great day everyone, I'll stop back in later in the day. carol/kittyquilt

Good morning to you all!! We had fun last night, didn't we? Sure wish I could've stayed later but desperately need my "beauty" sleep. I'll be working on a baby quilt today, after I re-arrange my room so I can find some things. It's finally warm here today, may have to go outside for a little while this afternoon.

Hi everyone!! I don't think I'll be doing any sewing today...maybe sneak some in this evening tho. For some reason I got up this morning and started to clean my kitchen...I really don't know what got into me. I've got my stove tore apart cleaning the oven and the burners. Next I'm going to do the fridge. I even cleaned the vent hood...what a mess!!! I hope you all have a great day...hopefully in your sewing rooms!!

Just popped in for a bit. Hello & Welcome Ruth. Happy to have you join us. You are now a member of the El's Angel Online Guild. We came up with that name for fun. If you will notice under Projects from the Heart, on Friday/Saturday & some Sundays we have a Sew-In. Usually in the evenings but some start early. We have people from all over the world so there are of course diff. time zones. Australia is I think 17 hrs. ahead of us? Anyway we come in here to chat or to chat & sew a bit. It gets to really moving quickly if there are sev. in here so not a lot fo sewing gets done. Grab ya a drink, snacks if ya want and sit and type & read. LOL Or just pop in throughout the day and or evening. Usually soemone here or over in Chit Chat. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Over in Swaps & Block of the Month there may be some swaps that interest you. A great deal to check out here. And of course you can shop online @ QIAD. They have great fabric & great prices.
Hugs
Cathy

Welcome Iamruth.......so glad you joined us. Yes, the sew-ins can get a little crazy, but it's good fun. Last night was pretty tame compared to some. If you have any questions at all don't be afraid to ask. Again, welcome!!
