Well, I'm not in Paducah, nor on my way there, but so happy for all of those who are going.
Tonight, I'm too busy to be envious, though, because I'm on a mission to finish the quilting on an old UFO that I so badly want to get over and done with!
Right now, I have just a few small areas left, but need to use different thread colors on them, so it is now countdown - five colors to go, LOL! Then I need to decide if I'll quilt the 2" borders or if I leave them as they are.... All these decisions...

Hey, y'all! Just checking in mid-day, sitting here with my cuppa joe, had a bit of lunch...need to get up and put something on the table for the kids in a few minutes. There's some tuna left from last night so that's what they're getting--!
I hope everybody has a great time in Paducah! Safe trip and a safe return to all...it will be fun to hear everyone's stories when they get back.
Now let's get the Friday sew-in rolling...!

Hi Jennie, Carole and Maria & Denise------Susanna/Tulpje has been texting me for the last 1/2 hour. She and Jeff have arrived but were lost. I gave them the address from El's website. She said there is a picture of El on one of the billboards. The weather is bad, can't hang her boa out the window. She is sending me some pics soon.
Have Fun,

Hi Everyone!
Happy Friday! I spent yesterday working on the Bow Ties for the swap. I have many pinned and awaiting sewing. There are some that need to be pinned still but all the knots are done. I need to do some laundry and clean a little then I will sit and sew. I made a chicken rice dish last night that we will reheat for tonights dinner. I am looking forward to doing sewing this afternoon/evening!

Hi all, well, this sew-in thing is really not adapted for those of us in this part of the world... When it is late evening here, you guys haven't even had dinner yet...
Oasis/Linda, I'm working on the same old green kid's butterfly quilt (it is really an Irish chain quilt with motifs in the areas between the chains) that I did six months ago, but this evning I finished the quilting! At least almost. I still can't decide if I should quilt my 2" inner border or not.
What do you guys say - would you leave a 2" border unquilted if the rest of the quilt was quilted 1-2" apart. The squares in the Irish chain are 2"x2" and not quilted other than in the ditch.
