Carolyn, what kind of applique did you want to do? I do the freezer paper method and it work really well. Needle turn is hard.

Believe me they are wonderful to eat! Picking is another matter! You should see the preparations I take to go pick them! LOL It is long sleeves, gloves, apron and berry boxes. We did freeze the makings of pie and had it for Thanksgiving!

I'm going to get basil tomorrow and now maybe some tomato plants. I just hate those tomato worms. yuck! they are so gross.

Are ya'll talking about the apron applique swap? I got the magazine in for instructions. I've never tried needle turn and I don't do hand applique, all by machine.

I have never done applique other than on costumes so I have done the iron on and then sew on with a tight zig zag...so I need to learn from scratch for precision. Needle turn looks like I would not like that at all
