Anyone gonna do any sewing tonight? It's five here on the west coast and I am off this weekend...! I am waiting for the pizza to arrive.

I want to work on my charity quilts for a little bit after the kids are in bed. Got some fabric for a border for one (I ran out), and some coordinates for some of the other fabrics I bought last month.

I just finished another foundation-pieced pillow top, a gift for a little girl friend...found a very cute mousie print, put strips of yellow and blue around the center square, and it's done. Need to figure out if I will put the mousies on the back, or if I will need to use something else.

Hope everyone is getting some sewing time in this afternoon!

I've got to get the border on my Paducah quilt, and get things together to take to work with me, so I'm not going to be here long.

GP has company, so I don't think she'll be here - but if she is, it will be for just a minute, I'm sure.

They are also have tornado watches and severe thunderstorms down that way, to top it all off!

Paying my bills... yuk. Good thing I'm doing it tonight though, cause Mequilter and I are going on a shop hop tomorrow!! Better keep my cards at home - when the cash runs out, that's it!

Sunday I want to work on a new quilt I just started, but I also promised a friend I'd make her a table runner.... so we'll see!

Hi all...........just finished supper & thought I'd check in here. Cynthia.....are you ready for the shop hop tomorrow? I'm going on the website & print out the directions so I won't get lost. I'm looking forward to it & our visit!! Think we'll find anything to buy?????

Hi everyone..just popping on for a second John almost has dinner ready. Carol (Quilter7) and I had fun today meeting each other and visiting 4 shops on a small "shop hop" Each shop gave us a F4, a pattern (or 2) and a coupon for a return visit.

plans for tonight...another Sue for the swap and beginning one for a Girl Scout Fund Raiser (shh I forgot about it until my friend called and wanted to know if it was almost done...she is making it into a pillow...so I need to bump that on my list), then off to the Long Beach Airport to take Izzy. She is going to Boston for 3 days to finalize her apt rental for the fall...and to see her friends, especially her special guy

Hi, ya'll! CindyB's right, I'll just be popping in briefly, my MIL is flew in today for a short visit. I fixed a really good dinner and the storms passed right by us, and we've just had some really good rain. Mother-in-Law, DH and the grandmonkey are playing Mousetrap game, so I got to sneak in here for a bit to see what ya'll are up to! LOL!

Hope ya'll have a really good time at the shop hop tomorrow! Sounds like fun!

Hi everyone, a colleague at work today asked if I could make a baby quilt for a baby shower. She needs it by next Wednesday!! Guess I'll get started. I have some really nice flannel FQs just waiting for a perfect occasion. I'll get cutting tonight.

Have fun shop hopping ladies. It's my new favorite hobby!!

Just came up from the sewing room, working on a few more blocks for the 9" Mystery Swap. seems like I was down there a long time but I only got 1 done! Tummy started growling so I thought I better come up and fix something for supper--it is 8:30pm here in MN after all!

I did manage to get a couple other swap blocks cut and I'm working on the label for my Paducah quilt that Lori quilted for me. Gotta get that out to Amie so she can take it with her!!

Tomorrow is chore day, since I haven't cleaned the house since I got home from AZ you can only imagine how much there is to do. Will sneak in some sewing time I'm sure. And tomorrow I get to go babysit my Grandbabies, Bren and Evie! That should be interesting!! If the weather is nice maybe I'll take them for a walk!
