I made a sample sister's Choice last summer. It is a pretty block. I am planning on doing a sampler for my D to give her when she graduates college. I am gathering quilt blocks with names that have a meaning to her life...and sister's Choice is one I like. My 2 daughters are very close friends

I think "Tea Leaf" would be a good one for Boston for my D's quilt

What a great idea, I know she will love it. Was the block hard to do? I have been sewing forever but quilting is something I have only been doing for a little over a year. Debi

Carolyn, can I be adopted? I would even keep my room clean for a quilt. Well at least I would try. DH swears I only clean my sewing room when I am afraid the piles of fabric and FQs would crush me if they shifted and fell on me. He may be right but I would never tell him. :) Debi

Debi - I really don't know what to say. I like the way that it is colored in the link Carolyn posted. I may work on the coloration tomorrow. I think I am like Carolyn and need to go to bed. My DH just poked his head in to tell me he was headed to bed. I will talk to you tomorrow.
Goodnight! Pleasant dreams!

Carolyn - Tea leaf is very similiar to Bear paw isn't it?

Debi - I think the thing that everyone must learn to move past squares is half square triangles and flying geese. Have you learned how to make these?

Q7 ~ Sweet dreams, I am up for a bit more but am done with sewing for the evening. Maybe I will clean up alittle, that would be a nice surprise for DH. Maybe he can measure for those extra shelves I want if I do. Debi
