Debi - I looked for the Sister's Choice block on the cache that is used often in Block Lotto and I could not find it. I thought it might be in the Elm Creek Quilts book because I remember the block's name in one of the books. I looked and did not find it. I have on order The Return to Elm Creek Quilts, but it has not arrived. Perhaps it would make a great swap. I will see if I can find it on line tomorrow and let you know.

Carolyn - Welcome back! I think I will ask my Mom if there was someone named Carolyn in the early 50's. It seems like the name Carol evolved to Carolyn and Caroline in the early 50's. Maybe people just thought there was a lot of Carol's.

You may be right! The Friday night and Sunday sew-ins have alot fewer that participate then the Saturday but maybe that is because everyone is either tired from the week or busy getting ready for the weekend. I have enjoyed every single sew-in that I have been in. Debi

I did find Sister's Choice in the Elm Creek Quilts Book. It is on page 18. It is colored in three colors and looks almost like a Bear's Paw but with few "paws". I have a different coloration and it looks entirely different!

Carolyn ~ glad your back! We do have a small group tonight but that doesn't mean the fun it in a small amount. :) Are you going to work on anything tonight? I have been trying to but am having such fun chatting that not much sewing is happening here. LOL

Q7 ~ I would love to see the block and I think it would be a great block to make for a swap, after all, thats what we are.......a bunch of stitching sisters!!! Debi
