:)

*HI* Deb.

Shame on me, I went downstairs for my decaf coffee, was watching part of a movie with Staci, then i went back upstairs, snuggled back in bed with my lap top.
It is raining and windy outside. So NOT S. California.

I guess i better get my butt outta bed.
Going to try to show Staci how to cut fabric, how to sew pieces togethet on a machine.

*T* & Stacy,
It is sunny and alittle breezy in the foothills but very pretty out. I had a cup of coffee with DH on the porch swing and am now in my sewing room until it is time to fix supper. I have so much to do but my room is also a mess so I am going to be cleaning and sewing all day. Are you working on anything specific? Sounds like Stacy is new to most of this, Welcome and have fun with it as you go. It is a wonderful hobby that for most of us turns into a way of life and we wouldn't want it any other way. Enjoy!! Hi Debi & Tul & Stacy............I got my room semi-organized and now am ready to start cutting the fabric for the Wizard of Oz quilt. I'll be checking in throughout the afternoon. I'm excited to finally be starting on this. Went to a LQS this morning for their shop hop & found a gorgeous kit for Grandmother's Pinwheels for 30% off and brought it home. I think the prints are from the Civil War timeframe?

Me, Sounds like you came upon a great find at the LQS. Enjoy working on the Wizard of Oz quilt, I would love to see pictures. I am in my cleaning hour and have another 10 minutes until I sew. I am alternating between the two and hope to have a semi-organized room and some completed blocks by the end of the day and to have chatted with all of you as I go along. Debi

Good Morning Debi, Mary Ellen, Tul and Staci,
Debi - What a good idea to alternate! I think I need to do that!

Tul - It is okay to rest, remember you are not well! If my DH can go back to bed every Sunday after Church then you can do it too!

Can I ask all of your help?
I am agonizing on which fabric to purchase for the CW Swap. I decided to join and do the Bear's Paw. It only needs two colors, you would think it would be easy! I am making it much more difficult. That is the reason I hesitated joining. Do you think a cream dot would be okay for the background?

Hey ladies!
I was going to work on the wedding quilt for DH's ex-girlfiends little sister today but now the virus has settled into my back and my joints so I am spending the day in bed watchin COPS and talking to you all.

Quilter7 ~ I think the cream dot would be fine. I also need to get fabric for the CW swap, I haven't worked with CW fabrics much and wasn't really sure what I was signing up for. I am excited about it and can't wait to get started but I have several other sets of blocks and swaps that need to be taken care of first. Debi
