Wow, those sound great!! My cousin lives in KY, but I think I'll be meeting my trip allowance with this AZ thing. My 4-year-old loves dress up and all the girlie things life can offer, but my oldest (9) is not "girlie" in that sence, but loves animals, dogs (she mushes w/ a friend) and horses (we started her on lessons for her 9th b-day). She's currently taking care of my sisters dog for a month, and I don't have to ever tell her to feed the dogs, she does it before I'm awake. The boys are so nice though, now anyway, 6 & 7 and they get along so great! The 4 & 9 year old girls are the ones who fight, I think their age and personality are so different... It's nice with the 2 year old becuase 4year old calls them twins and loves to play with her now.

My grandson will be 4 in June and granddaughter 6 in July.
He is a typical boy and she is a girly girl. Loves wearing skirts & dresses. But also bike rides, and is learning to ride a quad. She would love to have horse but that won't happen. LOL. I am going to take her to a friends house when it warms up, so she can ride.

That would be great if you find out about that. It may be a good option. We were thinking of staying in Flagstaff and then driving to the GC the next day and going back there to spend the night again... We'll have a car rental but trains are fun, we have a great train ride up here in the summer, but it's so spendy and since it's a "tourist" attraction we just never seem to do it.

Hehe, I wanted a horse growing up so bad, but my mom always said I could have one when I got married... So when we bought our 2.5 acres in the country I told DH of my intentions... He pretty much said over his dead body, they are just money suckers! I realized, however, that with teenage years approaching that a horse is a good way to keep a horse loving girl at home and out of trouble, and he saw the "wisdom" hehe so for now we are doing weekly lessons until fences and barn is built (soooo much money!!!)
