I am so happy to be able to say........let the sew-in begin!

I am going to be working on french rose blocks, getting my sewing room cleaned up and chatting with all of you! I have missed you all so much with my computer down for weeks on end and can't wait to catch up. Ready, Set, Sew!!

Hi Debi,
I just sat down to take a break. I'm organizing my scraps & getting them all cut into even pieces then I'll be able to see what I've got. I want to use them to make some charity baby quilts.

I just saw the post about the Wizard of Oz fabric and love it. I have to order some!!! No wonder I never finish my UFOs, I just keep getting more to work on and then have fifty things going at once. I love it and wouldn't have it any other way.

Sharon, I have made some lap quilts for a local nursing home but no baby quilts yet........not a bad idea, they would be a quick project. What fun, I think I will check out my stash, I must have some prints and solids that would work.

Hi Sharon and Debi, How are both of you??
I am taking a break from quilting and found the sew-in already started. I have been hand quilting all week --really I need to be housecleaning, but when I start quilting that is all I get done.

Debi, don't you just love making the roses. I have sent mine to Cindy, but am still making them. I want to make a full size quilt.

Sharon, I have sewed on my collection of scraps for several winters. I just about have all of them into quilts. Now if I could only get them quilted.

Boy do I know how that goes. I promised myself if I do an hour of housecleaning, I can sew for two. I think thats fair:) LOL
Off to finish the laundry, I have another 20 minutes and then back to my first love, fabric and whirling sewing machines!

It is sooooo boring to cut the stash strips into even pieces. I know i will appreciate it when its done but till then----UGH. Well back to it. I am determined to finish I hope today.

I have been working on the Tea Cups and am not having fun...every time I get it lined up the length doesn't match across the bottom. I must be taking my seam too deep, or pressing wrong...or who knows. It is time to take a break.
