I've been working on my string quilt, trying to make a dent in my stash.

oh no! When did you start to feel sick?

Caren, oooh, I don't know, sometime before the first of the year...!

This is my second round of some kind of creeping crud since then. I was thinking this morning where in blazes I could have picked THIS one up; I went in to work last Thursday to do an annual skill check. One of the gals conducting it was coughing and I overheard her say to another staffer that she had been having chills all afternoon. With an exposure on Thursday and a common 72 hour incubation period, the timing is just about right...felt kinda ooky at work on Tuesday evening, thought I was just tired until the next day when I had a horribly sore throat, followed by aches and congestion the next day.

Somebody just shoot me!

MM, your string quilt is as cute as it can be! (saw the pic in the photo section) I watched the QIAD Still Stripping DVD this afternoon and want to make the Stars and Four Patch quilt, think I'm going to make it for the Paducah Trunk Show. I worked on the blocks for my dad's flannel quilt today. It's that Fun & Done quilt-as-you-go pattern I was working on at the last Sew-In. The blocks are all done and half the quilt is sewn together, the rest should go really fast now.

Eating Japanese Steakhouse on a TV tray while the Sew-In gets going. Wonder what shenanigans we'll stir up tonight??!!! LOL!
