I actually brought her a lap blanket that I had crocheted. She couldn't believe that I had made it (it was the first one I'd done). I did make her a fleece blanket that she kept on her bed & she also had a Packer fleece blanket that she used everytime she watched a game.

My age? no secret here. I'll be 50 on the first of September this year. Feel like a teenager sometimes, though. And just ask the girls at work, I've got spunk!! I called the pizza place yesterday & kind of read them the riot act....they delivered our lunch to the wrong branch & by the time we got it, it was cold & they screwed up the order. Needless to say, we have a nice "credit" there for next time. Usually I'm really quiet & reserved till I get p****d.

I agree 100% with that Tul. My DH and I always talk about our grannys to our kids. What they'd say and it brings to mind the fun childhood memories. They were a hoot. My granny, boy...she really couldn't see the older she got. She confused a fox for a possum for about 6 months, til DH and I saw what she was talking about. Told her to stop throwing the scraps out in town!

Tul, did you have all of them at home at the same time? Yes you did...but I mean...all 5...and you are still sane?

I know what you mean about losing it at times. I don't usually...did last year when a steak and rib place let us sit for about 20 mins. and we were getting ready to place order and they said no steak...
we were a party of 15...could've said so at the door!
