I don't know how many of you saw this story

This woman I think needs a quilt (we desided this during the sew-in)from us telling her we appreciate her being a good example and following through with raising her son right.

Heres what I am thinking each of us makes a 9 patch(9" finidhed so 3 1/2" squares sew into a 9 1/2" unfinished) with a light center block and signs that center block, I am not to worried about the other colors just so the center is light so we can see your signature. Be sure to sign it with a permanant pen,
then we attach a large label on the back telling her it is in appreciation for being such a good mother and a good example to others. That sort of thing.

See works at a radio station in Des Moines so I bet we could send it to her there.

I would be willing to collect the quilt blocks and make the top, I would love it if someone that machine quilts would help with the quilting as I am still new at this, then I would be willing to bind it and send it.
