Yum, farm fresh eggs. Now I'm thinking Omelets, or an open faced fried egg sandwhich, which we call uitsmijter in Holland.

I have been skiing but I don't ski. I was just not built to ski its a scary sight to see me flying down the mountian LOL! I can't seem to get the hang of stopping.
Besides its cold in all that snow I would rather do somthing warm like drink hot chocolate by the fireplace in the lodge ;O)

all of the critters are pets. DH is the one who mostly takes care of them all.

The bees freak me out sometimes in the summer when it's hot & I'm out there while DH is working on the hives. I don't usually wear any gear if I'm just out there with him. If I actually need to do anything with them, I wear a hat w/veil & gloves. But when there are several hundred thousand flying around, it is pretty cool.

The thing with honeybees is that they don't care about you. They only are interested in floral sources & protecting the hive.

No, Carin, I moved to the west side of the state when I got married.

Carolyn, does your grandfather still keep bees?

Tul, I have nice eggs for you here ;)

MM I would go bezerk i think with that many bee's around me.
I allready duck if a buttefly flies by unexpectadly.
Anything that flies I used to have some kind of phobia.
So I started breeding canaries bout 8 or 10 years ago.
Took me a while not to panick when they would escape and fly around me. Now I'm better at it.
I raised quite a few baby canaries, hand feeling them at just a few days old and all.

Is it more rural in the western part of the state? the 3 things I know about Michigan are
1) detroit is there and it is big
2)its surrounded by water
3)Detroit can be a scary place to live.
