9patch, I bet the football game this weekend... we bet a fat quarter, I will make breast cancer blocks for mine... I was trying to get others in on the action so we could get more blocks made.... but it didn't work that way...

I don't know which team will win or lose but I want to put in a block for each of them.....

Good Night, sleep well.

Yes, I've heard of Sweeny and I know where Brazoria county is. It's southwest of Houston. Why?

My Dad had a Navy buddy down there. I would go and spend the summers there. I LOVED it there. Not many people have heard of them.

9Patch - did you go to the gulf when you visited? I don't know exactly where they are but I'm thinking they are near the water. We use to go to Galveston all the time when we were kids and young adults. I hate it now - I went to Cozumel about 20 yrs. ago and the water and beaches are so beautiful there and they make Galveston look awful in comparison.

I remember going to the beach one time, most of the time we went to the river. That is where I learned how to water ski. I am not sure about the beach name though.

I'm going to bed. I've had the 'crud' for over a week now and it's getting me down. I'm tired of all the coughing and blowing my nose. I think I'll dose myself up with Nyquil and go to sleep. Yea, no alarm clock in the morning!!! I'll sleep 'til I wake up and then get busy on the twins quilts. See y'all tomorrow.
