I love daffodils. One year I planted several dozen and come spring I only had about 12 that bloomed. I found out that the critters ate the bulbs! Never did replant.

MAWmum, I LOVE daffodils - such a cheery sight after a long winter - though I admit the winters here in TN are nothing compared to the winters I had in MI for most of my life. Still love to see those daffodils in bloom.

I know deer don't like daffodil bulbs - wonder what other critters can get them?? I gave up on tulips years ago, as we have deer here.
