Alina - Yes, the "Sunbonnet Sue" Quilt does sound like the one.

well I would think that in a weeks time the quilt could go from the senders house to the receivers house... after all ANYONE can take a package to the post office....

The last post I saw about Tulpje said she was back in the hospital. Does any one know how to contact her to find out if she is in the hospital? If she is, has the project stopped due to bindings not being on the quilts yet? How can we find out?

The quilt may be needing a binding. Or I was wondering if she paid the quilter to do the binding. That is so expensive but with an impending surgery, she might have if there was enough donation money to cover some of the cost. Or be paying someone else to bind it. Just a thought. Thank You Linda for checking on this. You are a doll.

Guys, I just checked back through some messages I received when I was leaving to have a new grandbaby. I had checked with T because I did some labels for those quilts, and she left a message that she was scheduled for a 3 hr. surgery on Aug. 7. It is very possible that she is still in the hospital. That could explain why there's been a lag, though. That's one of the few times I've had communication with her, maybe someone else keeps closer contact with her, and can let us know.

Cathy, it may not have the binding done since she has not paid the quilter with the donation $ if I am understanding it correctly.
I would be happy to do the binding if the quilt could get to me & to send it on its way.......

I removed Tulpje's comment to remove a personal home address. Here is the content of her post without the address:

Hi Suzanna,
I finished the Delectable Mountains quilt and left it in the front office at Quilt in a Day. I think it turned out very nice. You can either put a check in my mailbox at Quilt in a Day, or mail one to me at:

Also, the other quilt you gave me doesn't have enough backing fabric. I tried to lay out the scraps you included to piece together, but they just aren't big enough. Let me know what you want me to do.
I look forward to hearing form you.
Judy J.

Hello Judy,
Thank you for doing the LA quilting on the two ‘El’s Angels’ projec
Would it be possible for you to add some backing from the QIAD store?
I did leave you a check at the QIAD store, but did not know the amount.
There was no bill included.
So I left the check blank and trust for you to fill in the correct amount.
