GP ~ What a great surprise for you, a new machine is always such fun. I am trying to get pajama pants done for DH but he keeps coming up the stairs to "visit" and I have to switch projects quickly. LOL I am going to have to put a sign on the door that Santa's Sewing Annex is closed to the public if I ever want to finish those PJ pants.
I am so happy for you.....a new machine and spending the evening with your darling grandmonkey!! What fun for all of you. I am very interested in your project for tonight. Do you have a pattern you can share? This sounds like a great addition to any sewing room.
Happy stitching!!
Debi

Lori I wish you lived near me & I would try to hire you to decorate for me this year. I am just not into it for some reason.

Stitch, I might could share the pattern, but I'm trying to figure it out myself right now! LOL! I may need to switch gears and work on the quilted paperback book cover instead! LOL! MM, ROFLOL!!!!...what fun is doing things the traditional or rational way???!!! You haven't lived until you've used human hair for fiber embellishment, and I mean while it's still attached to your scalp!!! LOL!

I'm glad to hear that, MMQ.

One night I had a dream that I had a bloody nose (I used to get them as a kid, very often at night. Very scary.) In the dream, my DD, who has had several first aid classes, said "Hold the bridge of your nose and lean forward!" That was all I could remember of the dream. The next day, DD had a bloody nose and I said, "Don't you remember what you told me last night? You know what you're supposed to do!" I couldn't believe she couldn't remember what she told me to do in my dream. Strange child! LOL

I'm whipped tonight, Gals. I think I'm going to go lie down & watch "Goodfellas" on the tv in our room. I think my Girls will lie with me. I'll try to pop in later.

Oh! If someone is washing floors, come here too. That's my worst job.

Thanks again for your concern :)

XOXO

OOOOOOOOOOO_OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO_OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'm howling at the moon for you GP. I envision you flitting through the air like Tinker Bell, leaving a trail of sparklies behind you, with your boa sailing along through the air with you.

By the way, how does your quilted hair look??? (I hope you have pinned it back tonight, so you don't wind up with bald patches--and even more so you don't harm your latest addition fancy schmancy high-fallutin' sewing machine!!!

GP ~ I think I will be switching projects real soon too. DH seems to think he needs to pop in every so often and I am getting dizzy trying to keep him from seeing these PJ pants! Everytime I hear him coming up the stairs I grab them off my machine and try to get something else under the needle. I about fell off my chair last time, he just sat and laughed at me and to be honest it probably was pretty funny to see. Thank goodness that there are a few steps that creek and crack everytime you step on them no matter how hard you try to sneak past them. LOL Time to get ready to go to the masonic dinner, will chat more when I get home.
Happy stitching!!

GP!! before I started quilting. my thing to do was knit lopi sweaters/ and the old saying about way back when the sweaters were first made is that if you knit a strand of hair into the sweater it brings the person that wears it good luck and good fortune. But MY DEAR!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> it said nothing about scalping yourself to put in a project ! even back in those times!RAFLOL! WE GOTTA LOVE YA PAM!!! LOL!
