I worked graves for six months and yes I do know what you mean. Lucky for me it was winter time.

Hi, ya'll! Well, I did it, I finally got that Seminole border put on my quilt for Paducah! I was bound and determined to make it work. It was one corner that wouldn't fit right, so I took the whole thing off and re-did it. Now, tomorrow I'm going to quilt it, and pray it goes well! LOL!

We had severe thunderstorms rip thru tonight, we didn't get any damage, but other areas did. We just got some excitement and some good rain, thank goodness.

It's a mind set. You just think of it as any other shift and sleep accordingly. Sleep is the key.

Carol-Elizabeth George has a great series and they really should be read in semi-order to get the character development.

Carolyn - I see you did sign up for the Apron Swap. I haven't done applique so I did not sign up. I have several quilts I want to make anyway. I think I would like to take a class on applique and I think QU does offer one. I also found another web site run by Better Homes that has classes so I may try there.

We called family in IL and they said they were expecting snow. How funny. Today was fabulous here.

Apron Swap was tempting, but I think I'll pass on that one. It's such a cute quilt.
