Got it. Thank you ladies. I read on the forums for a few minutes and my legs had a mind of their own. Upstairs they went. I won.
Now I'll be drawing and quilting the outside borders and who knows I'll get with that today, and If I can start on my binding yet today.

All this talk about food is making me hungry. I think I can go ahead and live on Olie Bollen today right? There are 2 left.

The pictures and link posted in this thread are SO inspiring, thank you ladies. *HUGS*

DD#2 and boyfriend came by with their 2 dogs for a short visit, we all sat down to a great New Years Day dinner together. DD#2 lives on the other side of San Antonio from us so they didn't stay long, both of them have to go to work tomorrow.

Susanna, I was glad to hear that you didn't let that quilt get the best of you.LOL I know how frustrating it can be when that happens but I am so happy that my new machine has the bobbin monitor. I still get frustrated when I run out of bobbin thread in the middle of something but at least I don't have to go back and redo stuff.

I still haven't found my fabric for the leaves since I took a break to visit with DD and eat dinner. Oh well, back to the hunt.

Mmmm-mmmm! Had some shrimp linguini w/alfredo sauce! (Found in the frozen food section of your friendly neighborhood grocer!!!!) I saw the pix of your Olie Bollen on last night's sew-in thread, Tul! They sure look delicious!!!!!

Enough about food, now back to my Kansas Trouble blocks!

Okay so I have drawn up an idea for my friends baby quilt, I am going to do a 12 block I spy. I am going to boarder the blocks with a solid maybe a combo of black, red and white then I am going to boarder it with some swirly fabric I have.
I have lots of ideas and no get up and go to make any of the ideas. Sad!
DH is making stir fry as we speak yummo!
