Susanna, Thanks for doing such a wonderfully special thing that we can participate in for El. She has been such an inspiration for all of us for so many years.

For some still confused people about the prayer quilt, like I was when I first heard it requested for the California fire victims, here's a thought that helped me sort it in my mind (of course with help for El's Angels) Think of it as a one-block wall hanging, pieced top, batting, backing, binding, quilted by hand, machine, tied, whatever you want and however you want. That's why the size or color isn't specified. You may have a favorite block that you don't think is quite big enough, add a border or two.

Maybe like one of the "Postcards" that one of the swaps is doing. I've wanted to try one of those, this might be the perfect time.

Thank you ladies for the wonderfull responses.
Many of you have PM'd me and have my home addy by now.

I know that El flies to the East Coast on TG day.

I hope to have the quilted hearts to her around the 1st of the year.

Susanna, mine went in the mail today. It's in a mailing tube and I'm a little concerned that it will get lost. If you havn't gotten it by Monday please let me know and I'll send another.

I can picute of a GIANT basket in El's sewing room with all the Quilted heart blocks will be in for her while she is remembering all the good times with her Mom.

There is still plenty of time to get them done and mailed before Dec 30th.
