look at the discussion about ribbon awarness, it gives the color for each cancer. it is real good info.

Got my fabric today. Now just have to figure out the right pattern to use.
I have got so much going on with getting ready for vacation, trying to finish up a quilt and get one pieced out to take with me to work on. Not enough time in the day.

Cathy, this is a wonderful thing you are doing. I hope to make some blocks soon. I have stared a slide show of PFTH with pictures that have been posted and Evie has listed it in her list of the finished projects. I can start one for the mens quilts when we have pictures, if you like. You can post the pictures here or send them to me in an email and I can post them in the a slide show.

Cathy, I am so happy you are spearheading this project! I will work o some blocks when I finish the pillow cases I have started. I may have to hunt for some "guy" fabric! lol

Regarding ribbon colors--I got this from another post on this forum yesterday: here are some of the colors


Black Ribbons: Melanoma
Dark Blue Ribbons: Colon Cancers
Gray Ribbons: Diabetes & Brain Cancer
Green Ribbons: Kidney Cancer

Jade Ribbons: Liver Cancer & Hepatitis
Orange Ribbons: Leukemia, Multiple Sclerosis
Periwinkle Ribbons: Stomach Cancer
Pearl Ribbons: Lung Cancer

Pink, Purple & Teal: Thyroid Cancer
Purple Ribbons: Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer
Red Ribbons AIDS/HIV
Sky Blue Ribbons: Prostate Cancer

White Ribbons: Bone Cancer
