Susanna........I finished the blocks & posted a pic of them on the "Angel" discussion. Hope you like them. I have to admit that the "Fairy Frost" for the wings was the first time I had ever bought it, definitely won't be the last! They'll be mailed out tomorrow.

Alina, I guess the bat is outside but I thought it was in the house.
The worst is not knowing where it is. Hopefully, she can run it off.

how's the packing going?

Everyone's angels are so cute. I need to find a pattern that I can piece like Linda/oasis did.

back to see if Tul found the bat. BRB

I looked at the Angel post and they are all so cute and creative. I must have been out of the country when this got started. What are they for...some special project. I must be totally out of the loop but they are adorable anyway.

Hi Sharon... the packing is going slooooooow! It was too hot packing with the doors and windows open so we had the AC on... geesh... it's not even July yet... It is going to be a toasty summer!

Susanna... where did you go????

Sue... the Angels are for a special quilt for Eleanor and her sisters... they had some recent family losses...

Cheers!

Susanna - Well, what happened with the bat? Did you ever order pizza?

Cyber Sue - It isn't too late to join. Tul doesn't care whether it is pieced, appliqued or embroidered at first she was suggesting we go buy one at Michaels, but say that to a quilter and it becomes a challenge for creativity.

Alina - It is definitely cooler at our house tonight! It is supposed to cool down in the next few days. Hopefully you will get some packing done in this next week when it is cooler.

):

I closed the house up and the AC on, bare with me with trying to spell correct while my eyes tear. The bat is outside.

So is a scratching/rattling noise on my front door.

Yuck

Cyber-Sue, the Angel quilts go to EL and her two sisters.
They lost a sister in May, and a few days later Patti her husband passed away. So yeah great loss on top of their Mother's passing back in November. This also happened during the retreat.

We need 48 looks to make 3 lap size, each 16 blocks in them. Each block 10 1/2"sq unfinnished.
