Carin - I do not know about the Brother Machine, but they must have a web site. Maybe you could find out how to put the embroidery unit on to get it to work. Don't they all work pretty much alike?

Carol, if you decide to go let me know I would join you... I had a flyer for the Del Mar thing, I thought it was a sewing/quilting expo type thing... but now I cannot find my flyer! Let me know what you find out!

Granny 2 - The Long Beach Catalogue said they will be using several brands of machines. They will probably be selling them as well.

I have never used it, I tried to do it without the book and just made a big hole in my fabric. DOH!

Carin - How awful! What kind of stabilizer did you use? You may want to go to their web site and see if they have a forum and ask. Also go over to [url]http://www.quiltuniversity.com'>http://www.quiltuniversity.com[/url] Go to Student Commons and ask questions about the Brother Machine. There is a Machine Embroider Class that will be beginning soon and the instructor may know about the Brother.

Thats cool I used a heavy stablizer I think I just didn't have the machine set up right. Thanks for the link!
