I walk different than I did at Camp, Tul! Dr. said he added 3/8" on that side. No limping now.

Also, I take longer steps now than I did before the surgery. Had to readjust my pedometer!

Weather wise.....we get frosts here but that is about it. Very mild really, but I LOVE the cold.
It does snow in other parts of the higher country, but we are on the plains so just frosts.
We have Budgies, pink and grey Galahs, Sulphur crested Cockatoos, and an occasional black cockatoo (supposed to be a sign of good rains/floods where we live). Also Red wing parrots, grass parrots, King parrots, a family of Kookaburras who live in our street, Have seen cockatiels in the wild too, but not locally.

Oh Kadie, that sounds like heaven to me to live in an area where they have birds like that so close by.

Must be strange for you to see that we have them in cages?

Do you have canaries and finches as well?

Yep, finches and blue wrens and willy wagtails all nest in my garden.
They all disappeared when the Punkman came into our lives, but I have noticed they are back again now.

The limp is totally gone! That was a result of the worn down bones. I'm working on getting back to climbing the stairs two steps at a time! (just kidding!)

You will recognize me in Paducah - same ol' Grandma!!

Susanna, I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to hear you being so chipper tonight. You MUST be improving! Or is it just that Jeff will be home in 4 more days??
