That cinnamon French toast looks amazing.....I'm making that for breakfast tomorrow for sure.
Linda, I was just wondering if there were any skeevie areas where we should avoid getting a hotel room?

I am off to put the second border on a Quick Trip Tablerunner I just finished today. I will ask DH to take a picture of it when I finish. I am making several tablerunners for our Church Women's Retreat in April. It starts the day I leave for Paducah.

Hi Karen,
I don't really think so. The hotels are all in a pretty central area. The place where we used to set up our shop and El's show was in a really bad neighborhood but we never had any trouble. Believe me, the city takes very good care of quilters. The week of the show keeps a lot of the businesses there going all year.
Make sure when you are looking for a hotel to tell them that you will not be staying for the show. It is easier to get a hotel room for the period before the show.

Hi Tul,
The only reason I committed to go to Paducah for set up this year is because I want to meet all of you and spend time with you. I am working on getting a place where we can all get together. Restaurants are not a good place because we can't move around and really talk to each other much. I am working on using the upstairs classroom at our Padaucah store.

Maw, maybe next year? Actually, you are a lot closer to California. You should try to come over to QIAD one of these days. Where do you live in Utah?

Linda, you always have your thinking cap on?
That would be SO cool.
Can we wear our PJ's there?
(((MAW))) I wish you could come too.
