I think I can fit in a quilt.
The pictures are great, awe inspiring even!
I am thinking a single Irish chain, or log cabin. That is about the extent of my talents.

That would be wonderful, majik47! We like to have a nice Show & Tell for Eleanor and Sue Bouchard - and all the quilts are so appreciated by the women and children at the Merryman House. Can't wait to see you there!

Glad to see you made it back from Pigeon Force Ann. I hope you had a great time there.
I hope to mail my Merryman house quilt to you tomorrow, so it should arrive on time.
I hope a LOT of quilts can be donated this year again at Paducah. It's for such a good cause.

I received in the mail today Maryq's beautiful 'mini' Summer Porch quilt. I will take it to Paducah for Merryman House. I know it will bring a smile to someone's face and make a heart happy!! Mary calls it 'mini' because she forgot to put borders on it, but it is still a very generous lap size quilt.
I hope we will have lots of quilts to 'pay back' a little of the wonderful hospitality that Paducah shows us every year.
Thanks, Mary, for your efforts!!

Is the anything specific we should put on the label?

Rosie - No specific 'rules' about the label. Maryq has a very nice one, computer printed, that has QIAD forum, her name, state, date and Paducah. Last year I believe some had 'Made by El's Angel'. Do what seems right to you! (I think I left mine label-less last year - probably not a good idea!)
I'm finishing the quilting on mine today. Had hoped to put a scallop or wave border on it (never done that before) but I'm afraid I have flowers appliqued too close to the edge. I'll have to try that fancy border on something else, I guess.

I really hope many of us will participate in this project.
For me it is always 'Pay it Forward'.
It is everything El stands for.
I think we had about 20 quilts to donate last year.
Can we beat that number this year?
Since I can't be there in person, I send mine to Ann which she will bring to Paducah for me.

Here is my quilt for Merryman House. I had hoped to try something new and do a scallop or wave border, but I had appliqued some flowers too close to the edge. Live and learn!

It is beautifull Ann.
Hey Ann, QIAD selld those wooden things to hang quilts on. Just kidding you!
I hope we can produce many more quilts for Paducah. That whole community badly needs them. And they treat us ALL so welcome and with open arms. It's amazing when you drive into their town. Banners will great you. Most stores have quilts on display in their windows.
How could we NOT want to keep Paducah thriving and supporting.
This project is very close to QIAD's their heart.
Lets make QIAD proud of us. Use up that fabric we have, so we have room to buy some more while shopping with our quilter friends.
I will pay your shipping cost if that's what keeps you from participating. LOL I even pay in fabric.
