Jenn - That sounds like a good idea, I should do the same. DH and I have different body temps. I am always COLD... no matter what.
Going to try and put a warm lap quilt on my sewing list.

I'm always cold, too while DH has on shorts & a tank top. Thank goodness I have a small space heater to use here in the basement, otherwise I'd freeze. The basement is heated but just doesn't get warm enough for me.

Am thinking about a King Size Quilt I made several years ago in flannel to use as a spread, just did the top and we moved to Florida so it has been packed away, now that am back in Tn. might hunt it up and see if I can do some --- unsewing and make it into a couple of lap quilts. Must make a note to find it.........

Know what you mean, I always have a small heater going in my sewing room in winter also. DH likes it cool and I like it warm, my old bones can't take the cold.

Well everybody just faint....Vanderbilt beat Auburn for the first time since 1955. Vandy is undefeated and they usually have trouble beating the middle schools...
I was going to get my "mammy" done on friday and I backed out because ESPN was setting up at Vanderbilt stadium and Belmont is hosting the presidential debate on Tues. and the Breast Center is half way between the two. Streets are closed, media trucks everywhere, and it was hard to tell whether the debate or ESPN covering Vandy's game was causing the most ruckus....I said these Ta-tas are just going to have to wait a few days. Have y'all seen the breast cancer t-shirts that say "Save the Ta-tas". I may have to get one to wear to Paducah next year...if there is a Paducah quilt show.
