hi I just popped on to say hi for a second. I have been making pillows to match my quilt that I made using the Magic Vine fabric. We are having guests (John's cousin and his family) from Illinois tomorrow and the quilt looks lovely but it needed pillows. I made 3 pillow cases and 2 large pillows. Now I will make a couple of pillow cases for Cindy's project after they leave.
I really shouldn't be on-line I should be cleaning. We are getting John's cousin's son and his girlfriend at our house so we need to have my sewing room transformed back into a guest room for Natalie and the office ready for Brett. John's cousin and his wife are staying with my BIL a couple of blocks away.

Hi ladies. Just thought I would pop in for a quick minute & say hi olus wanted to see what everyone is working on. Susanna have a great dinner and a fun evening with your friend. Don't giggle too much. LOL That is always such fun to have a slumber like party and laugh til your sides hurt.
Michelle I just love your fabric & blocks!!!!!!! It looks so elegant. And I just had to go have a look at the Dandelion line by Moda. Thanks! LOL Just had to put in an order. Gosh it is beautiful.
Swtsarah, you said you were packing, where are you heading off to? We can't have you going away from us for too long Sister! LOL
Peach, when working with Minkee, is it stretchy? I have always been afraid of it but I do love the feel of it. Was it hard to work with? I just know your Dear Dad will love it!
Fabricgirl it sounds like you are in for a very fun weekend.

Going to NJ i will be on line my gf said i have the pc anytime i want. I have my own bedroom and room for my sewing stuff too.

Susanna - I am glad the pictures helped. Between the camera and photobucket I lost a couple of picturs, but I think that is enough anyway. I did realize that if you sew french seams as I did that the wide band should have a 1/2 inch seam allowance, not the 1/4" called for in the pattern. I have a band that is slightly too large!

Hi Quilter how things with you? im slowing down on packing lol. I got everything out what i want to take with me it is to try to find things to put them in lol. I know DH gone to say you are taking to much just for a week. Gril got to take everything no matter what.lol

She dont have time she works all the time long hrs. Her DD does alittle i will teach her how to make things. DH is driving me and coming back home. I should get alot done there. Sue does not let nobody watch her kids only her mom or me. She knows that how im with me kids. She live a half hr from the beach too. I love going there all the time. That where i be spending my time at down there. I use to live in NJ and all was went to the beach.
