Carol, I've never been. A good friend of mine used to be a cop in GG and he would have to work it every year.

Lori - Your doggie quilt is really adorable!

Alina - Your boys are just tooooo cute! They do grow up fast, so enjoy them just as they are now!

Lori, I LOVE the doggie quilt!! That fabric just makes me smile!

Lots of geese, but I have about 220 done, so I'm more than 2/3 of the way. I'm thinking the quilt will go fast once the geese are done. I do 8 sets at a time, so get 32 geese each time. Just need to do that 10 times!

I admire all you people who can be 'creative' - I've got to follow the pattern!!

Dinner is over and the kitchen is cleaned up, so I'll do another 32 geese!

Wow, it's been busy in here today. I finally got down here, spent some of the day planting flowers & veggies. Then, (I don't know what got into me) I actually baked and made a big supper. Rocky Road Banana Bars with the best chocolate frosting in this world and threw together a turkey meatloaf, boiled potatoes & baby carrots. At least there's enough leftover for a couple more meals. Now to start with the Angel blocks & see how far I can go before I fall asleep. Hope everyone had a good weekend! Happy June!

Ann, I think I would go crazy if I made that many flying geese. Kudos to you for doing it. Lori

Well, Lori, I've been working on them for about a week. I just do a few a day. Have other projects to keep it from being so boring doing the same thing over and over!! I do like to do flying geese the Eleanor Burns way, but I admit this is a LOT! I was just so in awe of the quilt hanging at the QIAD facility in Paducah and decided I wanted to do one!

OMG...it's a wall hanging! How big are the geese? They must be those tiny ones. Yes I like Eleanor's rulers as well. I made a quilt with the largest one. Lori

LOL Lori... I missed that it was a wallhanging too! Hahaha! I can't wait to see a picture! I love the new baby geese rulers!

Cheers!
