Littlebit, I thought if I sew rows of 1" strips. 14 or 16. Then cut the block on diagnal.

Make two of them, each going a different way. Cut both blocks on point.

Now sew two halfs together that each side goed diagnally and come together in V 1" strps.

Got it - Go for it!!! You have every bit of chance as anyone else. Have you looked at entries lately, lots of different blocks all styles and colors :)

Thank You Susanna - that really means alot {{{hugs}}} I have been working on this block for about 2 weeks just trying to get it to come out the right size, I am happy with it :) There are 96 pieces in this block and 16 seams that come together in the center!!

Honestly - Off and on, with only log cabin being the only quilt completed and only serious about it since February 2007
