I just got here too. do you know there are 13 pages of posts... If I had to read them all to catch it would be tomorrow and I would be a day behind..

I did see a few people went to bed and I saw Bubbles is still Bubbles, but what else did I miss?

I just noticed that sick is spelled sich. I guess my keyboard is tired too. He has trouble with infection in a leg along with blood clots, diabetes, and so forth. When I do get a chance to sew, it is soooooooo relaxing. That doesn't happen too often - or at least not as much as I would like. I am planning on making Christmas stockings for each child in my class at school. With the last day for us on Dec. 20, I had better get busy with them soon.

Well, I'm back but I've missed how many pages of posts???!!! LOL! I got the Janome all set up and finished appliquing one project. Trying to get used to how this machine operates, it's a lot different than my Bernina. By the time I got used to it and figured out which stitch I wanted to do, the project was finished. I used the blanket stitch and now I'm second guessing if I should've used the satin stitch or a small zigzag instead! LOL! I did the applique with paper-backed fusible. Didn't try the blind hem stitch, anyone have any suggestions before I start on the other project?

Caren........weather today is fine, it's tomorrow that we're worried about. Snowstorm warnings in effect already & they're talking about 6-8 inches of snow, mixed in with ice & sleet & a possibility of "Thundersnow." We got errands done tonight & the fridge is well stocked, so we won't worry about that. Just hope the power stays on during the storm. We're headed tomorrow am to cut down our tree & at least we'll have that here. How's your weather?

Goodnight....I'm fluffing my own pillows ;)

Bubbles, your soaps are beautiful. I'm a fan of handmade soaps & buy them from our locals ;)

Mequilt- we're supposed to get clobbered tomorrow night & into Sunday, same thing, the snow, sleet, freezing rain & more yuck. I'm planning on running errands first thing in the AM & then hunkering down.
