Chriss, hi! You'll have to excuse me, I'm celebrating!
MM, we booked our rooms at the Drury Suites. No where in town had ANY openings at all, but when I told them we would be there BEFORE the big show, they had rooms available.

according to wikipedia, a grander sandwich is:
"A submarine sandwich or sub is any of various sandwiches made on a long roll (usually up to 12" long by 3 " wide) or baguette (called "French bread" or a "submarine roll" in the U.S.), so called because of its length. The contents typically include meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and various condiments, sauces or dressings."
Gosh this is making me hungry.

I haven't looked yet. I wonder if there are areas in Paducah that we shouldn't stay, like the skeevie areas? I should ask that lady who lives there. I don't remember her name. Do you?

Chriss, no, I'm celebrating because for once I was RIGHT and DH was wrong! LOL! He said a "grinder" was a Philly Cheesesteak and I said it was the same thing as a sub sandwich!

LOL Jenny, I told Jeff to go get a 'grinder', He's a California boy, and in Ca. a grinder is something totally different all together. <snort snort>

I would love to go to Paducah. I can't do it this year, maybe next.

Here at my house, Mr-Man has been busy making some supper - sausage, meatballs, sauce and the pasta; along with garlic bread in the toaster oven and a salad.
I think I'll keep him.
