I'm being asked to pretend like I am part of the family for a few minutes. Sigh guess I better go for a few. Back later.

GP, perhaps he was pretending to be a true Southern gentleman, all the while knowing he could not get the best price in Cherry Red color... but he would get the credit for offering you a choice.

Or is that too devious for him?

I don't even know that it'll actually sew through it.

I made a sample piece and it's really really puffy. Maybe it's the batting. Originally it has QIAD batting inside, but I wanted "puffy" so I bought low loft polyester and added that.

Maybe I'll just have to put binding on it and let it be. Sad thing is I originally made it as a flip quilt and only had to stitch the opening shut and it was done but could I let it alone .. nope.

It sounds like something I would do, Bransmom. But at this point, can you just sew a binding on it and call it done?

I received my very first QIAD order today complete with my own boa. I had to drape it over a wall hanging to keep if safe from Callie Kitty's reach. Just finished watching El's Primer on machine quilting. Looks like I'll be doing lots of practice before I'm ready to have a go at free motion quilting.

I guess that's what I'm gonna have to do Leetec.

Just makes me mad to think a couple of pieces of fabric and some stuffing beat me! LOL
