The hearts are all so pretty!
Who made the red, white and blue one with the 4 hearts? It's beautiful and I think back during July QIAD-Linda mentioned that El's partial to those colors since her birthday is on July 3rd or 4th. Great Job! What pattern is it?

Susanna the candy cane quilt u have on your sofa is totally awesome~! I want to make one of those sone time.. I love the combination of the colors u made it.
Ladies the hearts are just stunning!! I wouldnt begin to know how to make a heart so I guess Ill just have to send her mine!!!

I agree, all the hearts are truly pretty. thank you ladies.
Mcmema, the Candy Cane Lane quilt was very easy to make. That is a true QIAD project, cutting, sewing and quilting. And thanks to Sue Bouchart I can even do the binding by machine on both sides.

Beautiful Hearts Gals. Thank You Susanna for the pics. I was surprised that mine made it so quick!!!!!! Usually takes 7-9 days. Thank You my dear for doing this for El. I appreciate you for doing it.
Oasis I take the blame for the red/white/blue block. Me & the little Hag fought all that evening and I am actually embarrassed at the quality of the block. Thank You though for the sweet compliment. I had a pkg of hearts I had bought from somewhere or the other & thought I would use them to quickly make a block rather than piece one. The backing and binding is from a Feedsack I had on hand. So I chose from what I had & decided to go for those colors. Thanks. I am not real creative!

If the block is too improper,or personal to use let me know and I will do another block without center fold. Please let me know if it is too shabby and degrading for El. Might need to check with Linda on that one , I don't want to hurt anyone feelings here.

Your block is very touching and not out of place at ALL.!!!
Besides the beautifull work that you did on it, it is a block I think El will treasure. I would be greatly touched by a block like yours for the loss of someone as dear as El's mother was to her.
