Kadie, your tears touch my heart. I, too have tears streaming down my face for you. I am glad the boot gave you the chance to laugh through your tears.
The time will come when you will be able to wrap yourself with this quilt and it give you comfort.

Kadie, time doesn't heal all wounds, but sometimes it helps them to be less painful. I don't suppose you ever get "back to normal." Hopefully someday you'll be happy and be able to enjoy life again.
