Re: Friday June 13 SEW IN
How is everyone doing this evening? I received my May pink and brown noodles from Amie(quilterbee) today and I have to hold myself back from starting something new. I found some nice fabric for pillow cases and I really want to try out that pattern that Linda(Oasis) used to make a tote bag. I can't decide if I want to work on swap blocks or look for fabric for new projects.

This is what I'm working on now (and I say now because that may change in the next hour LOL). Ever since I made my gold Christmas quilt last year I've been stashing black and gold and red/green metallic fabrics. So I dug some out today, consulted on www.quiltville.com and this is where I am. I don't think I've ever made blocks with small pieces like this so it is kind of fun. Though I need to do a better job matching up my points.

Oh I just got the biggest chuckle! I went to "search" and put in pillowcases because Christmas before Christmas last year I'd taken pics of steps to making pillowcases and posted them. Well, what came up was quilts I'd made and pics of my fabric room! ROFLOL! Never did find the pillowcase tutorial! LOL!
I need to make a few of those pillowcases, too, they are really fun and go together nicely.
Sanna, I popped something in the mail for you today, it's a small envelope going priority mail, so be on the lookout for it!

Michelle, I love...love those fabrics. they go together so great. It is looking good, can't wait to see you post a picture of the finnished quilt.
Peaches, LOL... what are you sending me?
uhhhh <grin> so where are those pillow cases pictures Peaches!
I have a lot of stuff to mail this weekend.
Flannel to a lady friend of mine who is on a fixed income and would like to make PJ's for her grand children.
And YUP my Ungly fabric got 'lost' in my trunk, so that is going to go.
I have 25 Orphan blocks for CindyB (all sizes)
And I should have 3 pillow cases to go.
Hope to do some more cleaning this weekend, and then finnish quilting all my other projects, new Uncle Sam block/wallhanging, and a other BOM with sailboats made of fairy frost fabrics.
Then I hope to be ready for *C* to quilt Dereks quilt on my new frame.

Hi Everyone-
Well I just posted pictures of how to make the pillowcases using the directions from CindyB. See if the pictures help.

Off into the shower with me.
I've had a lot of fun today.
I might pop-on before Leanne (lady friend) and I are going to bed.
Should be fun having her over to spend the night.

I have been out of town all week so I have spent the afternoon doing laundry and sleeping. I will be in the sewing room tomorrow.
Hope all of you have a wonderful evening.
