I think a trip to LQS is in order - or maybe Joann's. It is worth a try - I hate getting those bird nests on the bottom.
Well - one more placemat done . Only 3 more to go.
Off to fold the laudry - be back soon.

FOLDING?! What's that?! lol
That's on the agenda for tomorrow, I guess...but there's a pile of my own stuff on my bed, so that will have to be dealt with soon!
I am piecing a backing...the fabric I had left came out just an Nth too small....ahhhhrrrrg!

I went and had a pedicure this afternoon and I have hearded the children into cleaning the main living areas of the house now I am going to make them some soup and Mike is going to take me out to our favorite Italian place for dinner.

Hi there everyone!! Just so you know, if anyone says that I'm a bad influence on them, don't believe a word of it. Got back from the shop hop with quiltnewby05 & we had a blast. Went to three stores and then ended up back at the first before we parted ways. There was a new store that neither of us had been in & what a surprise it was. I know she's working on posting a couple of pics & I'll be doing the same. Spent more $$ than planned, but wait till you see what I found. And, it was her first shop hop ever and she's not a rookie anymore. Beautiful weather in the 60's & a nice day for a fun roadtrip (even when we got lost!!)

Carin, do you have a sitter lined up, or are you locking them in the garden shed while you're gone? LOL

Re: Saturday ~ April 5 Sew-In
Hello Ladies, I am back for a very short time, errands all done, had family show up unexpectantly at a small town festival about 15 minutes away so we ended up there for the afternoon. We are going to the play tonight for my little rainbow girl and supper out so I don't get to play until after that. It may be too late for some but I will check in anyway. I worked on my SBS this morning and took my blue scarf with me so I have been productive today but not like I had planned. Sounds like those that ventured out to the shop hop had a great time, I can't wait until next weekend, there is one in my area and I am going at least on Saturday!! The stew sounds so good I may have to put some on for tomorrow night.......don't want to take away any quilting time just to make supper. LOL
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, I love the happy cat. I just sat and laughed!! What is everyone working on? I am back to my SBS for now but need to work on the mystery blocks later. Debi

CaroleJ.......don't worry that's not so bad. It's something that can easily be fixed. This was the first time I ever went to a shop hop with a friend and I'm sure that's why I enjoyed it so much. (I think she's a bad influence on me!!)

ME a bad influence??????????
I did post pictures of the general store that was the surprise, and a picture of ME with her last purchase..... I admit, that time I did kind of encourage that purchase.. but she got a good deal. And I didn't buy anything that wasn't on sale. In fact, we went to another little REAL general store with clothing and stuff, and THEY had fabric really cheap, but it was Thimbleberries, and decent fabric. I bought 2 yards of Xmas fabric for 4.00!!! Can't pass that up, right?

I worked from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, so I am a slow starter. I am working on some quilted table toppers for my daughter.
